Hume Employment Service a Finalist in the 2011 Employment and Inclusion Awards.
Hume Employment Service has been recognized for its recent initiative in partnership with James Fallon High School by the Diversity at Work 2011 Employment and Inclusion Awards. After being nominated earlier in the year Hume Employment Service has just received notification that it is a finalist for the award. The Awards have nine categories designed to recognise the evolution of thinking in the way organisations approach their diversity and inclusion strategies. Hume Employment Service was nominated for the Today's Youth category which recognises excellence in initiatives or programs that promotes employment and inclusion of young Australians in the workplace. Our recent partnership with James Fallon High School which provides career opportunities for young students with a disability or indigenous background is the basis for our nomination. There are three steps in the judging process with winners announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 21 October in Melbourne.
